What You’ll Do

The Sales Support Specialist role is integral to the seamless operation of NY Tent’s sales department. You will be entrusted with the timely processing of orders, ensuring each client’s needs are meticulously attended to. Your day-to-day will involve responding to customer complaints and queries with agility and professionalism, embodying the company’s commitment to exceptional service. Administrative tasks are also within your purview, including researching new products or strategies to augment the company’s trajectory of success.

Your ability to multitask, coupled with a knack for swift and accurate data analysis, will be crucial. Every decision made and communication relayed will be instrumental in ensuring the sales team operates with optimal efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with colleagues across various departments, particularly marketing, harnessing the synergies born from cross-team collaboration. Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team by responding promptly to customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining sales-related databases to ensure seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to orders and account statuses, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Analyze and interpret sales data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with account managers to develop and implement tailored sales strategies.
  • Stay abreast of new product launches and updates, ensuring the sales team is well-informed and equipped to meet client needs.
  • Enhance the customer experience by reviewing and fulfilling specific client requests and orders.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the sales process to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Position Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales support role, preferably within the tenting or large-scale event industry.
  • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems, and MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • A deep understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • A team player with a motivational attitude.
